And now my question. Your style is build for 950 pixel. And so your background with the left and right side works fine.
I tried to modifier the size to 99% of the screen size. And now the background looks like this: Forums - Powered by vBulletin. Please see the border on the right side.
After some hours of "intensive" thinking ^^ and searching in the different styles and templates (and other forums) the reason is clear: The style is made for 950 pixel 
Do you know a way to change the fix to dynamic? Or is this request more in direction of the HTML of the page (make cells on the left and right side and fill it with the right picture)?

Thank you Yasha for your post. Unfortunately the skin can not be changed to fluid width due to the intense graphics. Changing the skin width will require re-slicing the PSD file in order to create two wide cells on both side of the logo and expand them to 50% each.
And I believe it will need extra work as well with the page background as CSS will be needed so the background displays the right way.
